The Sense of Creativity and Resourcefulness

As usual, my group in TLE was behind in planning and stuff like that about our project. We just couldn't think of anything...useful and recycled. Thank God that most of us in the group are girls. So we thought of something girly. Product number 1 was born: Trashy Accessories :)

Friendship Bracelets are made of used yarns.

Crohet Purse is made of used yarns.

Sassy Headbands are made of old fabrics are attached to faded headbands. 

I learned crochet in grade school so I didn't have much problem about it. I am proud of my other members for learning how to crochet. The headbands were random. We just came up with the idea because we thought it's cute. :)

The problem came when we saw the products of other groups. They were VERY recycled and pretty. We went like, oh my goodness. We're doomed. Second chance came in. So we made our second product namely Trendy Recycled Container.

This is made of used yarns, strings, newspaper cuts and magazine strips. The main recycled thing here is the soft drink bottle.

 These products are pretty simple but the hard work of the members are what that counts. It was a fun experience, for sure! And it's relieving to finish such products. I'm proud!

To sell them or not to sell them...of course, to sell them! People will patronize our products because they are useful, recycled and useful. The bracelets can also be worn by boys and we can make a guy version of the trendy container. Our service depends on the needs of our customer. 

And yes...they are salable!
